  1. My common sense comment either got pushed down or removed. I don't think it broke any YouTube rules, so I'm guessing it was the creator that pushed it down or out. So I'm out.

  2. During the last two years there have been empty shelves here in Canada. But the last 3 weeks it's been getting worse and worse. I asked a store employee when they think it will go back to normal and they said they have no idea.

  3. Coconut oil will stay edible for 20 to 30 years . Get cold pressed in a glass jar with a sealed lid. Store in a cool dark place. Once you've opened the jar, then use it within a few months. Use a clean utensil when scooping the "solid" oil from the jar as it's the impurities that will cause quick deterioration. The expiry dates on the packaging say 2 years, but quality coconut oil will stay stable for a lot longer than that. Also it's super healthy and satisfying, plenty of sustained slow release energy. And great for cooking.

  4. We need to stop depending on other countries & their shoddy products! Start growing & raising our own food & making our own products! Our products are much better! Our furniture our jeans everything! Yes it costs more but it lasts forever! Stop buying cheap made products! We're now getting jeans made in China but they are not good quality not the same products! Stop buy American! Create jobs here have what we need & get quality! Russia needs to be stopped! Now before they think they can move into more countries! They need to stop now! The food water & medicine issue most do not have the money the medicine well you can't buy more than a certain amount so stocking up on medicine is impossible!

  5. Hi Brad i watch you every day you have good info so thank you. Regarding meds… i have a son who is severely asthmatic and depends on albuterol daily and sometimes steroids to breath. I am trying to stock up inhalers for him in my own sneaky way. But it'd be great if jase medical could eventually have a supply of those meds.

  6. I hope my comments help people – young and older – with these ideas including using your local resources and other creative ways to free up your money, get discounted and/or free supplies to prepare now. Don't under estimate the Dollar Tree!
There may be single older people who don't know where to start. Do and get what you can as soon as you can. Here's what I, a single woman, with no family nearby, and friends who live many miles or states away, have been doing to be better prepared by myself. I live in a suburb of Seattle – and so you understand I'm not on acreage or off grid. I do have a wooden fence that defines my property and some great neighbors, some who I think may be preppers but we don't talk about it. We all don't socialize together but we can ask one another for help or offer extra fruit off our trees, etc.
My County offers a property tax discount for seniors with a fairly high earnings ceiling cap. I'm saving thousands a year. The application process was back logged for 9 months in 2020 due to the pandemic – so apply now if this is available in your area. My mortgage went down over $200 a month.
I also recently refinanced to get a lower interest rate. It'll take me just over a year to pay for the cost of the refi that is included in my mortgage payment so no out of pocket expenses. And now my mortgage is down another $240 every month. So in 1.5 years I'm paying about $450 less PER MONTH on my mortgage and that is cash in my hand!
For those looking to buy a home look for foreclosures. I bought mine in perfect condition for a song. With the pandemic many people foreclosed and now the banks are stuck with them and they want to unload them.
So, with my extra money I've been prepping. And I look for sales and deals.
I've bought a generator inverter to keep my big appliances going in an outage and I can charge electronics. I stocked up on cat food & any needs they'll have – stores are either out of canned cat food or rationing wet and dry here. I filled my shed with 2+ years of food & water, spent hours on YT educating myself on gardening, canning, etc and I bought lots of vegetable seeds – 4 pks @ $1.00 @ Dollar Tree and they are sprouting great. I've started my first vegetable garden, I bought more fruit trees and different berry bushes, I'm making compost with food scraps & twigs, leaves, etc. It's a lot of work but it's all worth it to not have to rely on food being available at markets. If you live in a small place grow vertically. Some veggies and herbs you can grow inside your home all year long! I bought 50 5 gallon good quality grow bags on Amazon for $20 and they work great!
I just bought a brand new rain barrel from my local utility (that sells them for only $35 to local residents) to water my garden.
I have learned how to capture fresh rain water for me and my cat's (Super EASY).
Dollar Tree's shower curtains make good makeshift tarps, are durable and good for routing rain water into a food grade bucket like the orange ones at Home depot.
I pick up firewood and other scraps from leftover tree cuttings or removal in my area when I run errands. In my car I have a huge Dollar Tree bag that's used for gardening. It's so durable I put in about 25lbs of cut up Tree stumps I saw on side of road. I bought 3 more bags!
I pick up free pallets where I can – habitat for humanity gives them for free, so do some trucking companies if they are slightly damaged, and I kept my old deck wood from a large deck project (handyman wanted to haul it away – I said Nope).
I have hand, electric, and battery powered tools, chain saw, and accessories, brackets, nails, etc, and I have the emergency radio that also hand cranks, tents, blankets, mylar, various ways and containers to start a fire in, kayaks, fishing gear, (I'm 4 blocks from a river) – basically I have most everything I'll need to live off grid. I learned how to make a rocket stove so I don't have to use my propane and gas portable stoves unless I have to. I save all my tp and paper towel rolls and weekly newspaper ads to start fires. Save cardboard for many uses. A tin can, filled with cotton balls and rubbing alcohol can be used as a cook stove, (like a stereo can which you can get at the DT for a buck). A jar filled with vegetable oil and a wick can last for days for light and heat.
A lot of things I'd had, I'm just adding new and updated items to my hodge podge of items over the years. And learning a lot from channels such as this! Think of short cuts. Canned food, a sterno, metal utensils, paper plates, cups, plastic bags, and compressed towels the size of a mint. I just bought 300 for $18 on Amazon. They are soft, strong, reusable and one teaspoon of water expands it immediately.
I have a van I can throw me, cats and supplies in if necessary. I always keep a full tank. And, I don't have a gun anymore so I bought a flare gun at Walmart for $25 (bec people went crazy during riots in 2020 and they will again when the SHTF) that will penetrate deep and burn the holy hell out of someone's insides. Sounds brutal but I'll defend my life however I have to. I didn't expect this to be so long but I hope I gave some food for thought and I hope we'll never HAVE to use it.

  7. I had been stocking water and can goods for months. Only living in an apt no storage. I had been putting my water, can goods in my trucks back seat. Last week my daughter and I were in a terrible car crash. We were all hurt badly my truck is totaled and after over a week in hospital. Well I was able to go see my truck..we lost all our stored bottled water, can goods soil, seeds . We lost everything I'd been storing for months. I'm terrified. Pray

  8. Something I don't hear anybody looking back on and acknowledging…historically more often than not when the United States supplies weapons of war to nations embroiled in wars, its only a matter of time till eventually those weapons we supplied, are turned on us. Just some food for thought.

  9. Everything is going to become a tradeable commodity when the time comes. . . .

Gold and silver is going to become very valuable, when this happens. Metals like copper and brass and even clean forgeable iron and steel billets are going to become worth their weight in. . . . . . Rice 🙂

    PRAY
    TGC
    Blessings:)
