I really hope this soap can help my case. My skin is garbage for so many reasons. If this will help me even just a little bit, I'd be happy. Just bought some on etsy (imported from ghana) and some raw shea butter too. I just got some emu oil a while back as well and I plan on mixing it with the shea butter

  2. Naomi Agboga says:

As an African living in Africa I use the real pure raw black soap and I can confirm that it's very stripping to the skin and hair so I mix mine with other oils just as Dongoyaro (Neem) oil and coconut oil and basically any oil I have at hand. I haven't noticed any amazing benefits on my skin for now hopefully it will help give me even skin tone someday

The Junkyard dog gave some of this "African Black Soap" To Miss Elizabeth and she ended up looking like Aunt Esther from Sanford And Son! Oooooooooooooooooooh Yeeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaahh! Freak Out!

  4. Susie says:

African black soap is made all across Africa🤷🏾‍♀️including North Africa. We have our own true and tried ancient methods of making it that has worked perfectly well for generations. Now everyone has jumped on the African black soap bandwagon and analyse/criticise its components etc. Its worked perfectly for millions of people in Africa🤷🏾‍♀️

This video would be better if you had someone that is African or of African descent discussing this product. Every black person I know who uses real black soap has impeccable skin. You also haven't discussed the real vs. the fake black soap. This video is inadequate in reviewing this product.

I've been having terrible breakouts for the past few months and neither the topical (tretinoin) nor oral (doxycycline) acne treatment from my derm helped. I started using raw African black soap every other weeknight (M,W,F) a couple of weeks ago and it's doing WONDERS for my skin! Even so, I still use CeraVe Hydrating Cleanser in the mornings and evenings when I don't use ABS so my skin isn't being stripped (along with CeraVe Moisturizing Cream twice a day). If you're having an adverse reaction, keep in mind this soap can be a bit strong, so try to alternate with a gentler cleanser to give your skin a break <3

I’m having issue with it rn I’m using a less than 5 ingredient black African soap with the little bits. I love that it’s natural but trying to help my dark spots and acne it sometimes burns and something is breaking me out I hope it’s just my poor sleep right now. The coconut oil in it I wonder if it can clog pores. I’m trying the American rebrand that is actually black and has perfume added 😣with charcoal today.

I use laroche posay lipikar balm to help prevent any dryness I love that stuff

  8. Megan Kawagoe says:

Have used the Shea moisture African Black soap bar for years and love it. Has helped clear up my eczema breakouts on my body, leaving my skin feeling clean yet not stripped. Don't really use it on my face as the skin is more sensitive there but definitely something to try if you have body eczema.

  9. Sheila Hollingsworth says:

Black soap? It works! It's only 8 dollars, or less! Dermatologist? Please! Black soap, you're not privy to! Research? There are us people who Knows! Face to glowing face! The black soap is not, black! Goodnight!

I am wondering who was asking you about the soaps from africa. There are fake african soaps that are not from africa. The black colored soap that they sell here in america is not real. It's the soft chunky soap that is the real soap and it is very good for black skin. We know to use shea butter after or to add honey into the black soap. You have to know how to use the soap and it is way safer than using the soap over here in america with all of the chemicals in it. If you do not have the skin type for the soap then…no you should not use it. 😀

  11. Adam Miština says:

I've had Dudu Osun black soap a few times and it didn't suit my skin so I picked up Aleppa bar of soap which is 4000 years old and is better in my opinion because African soap is only for face and Aleppa soap has many uses

  12. Me Only says:

EXUSE ME U NEED TO GET THAT INFO STRAIGHT FROM AFRIKANS BECUZ THATS WHERE IT COMES FRM & THEY MAKE IT RAW FROM THE LAND JUST LIKE COCONUT OIL & SHEA BUTTER JUST SAY IT & WESTERNERS HAVE NOTHING TO DO WITH IT

  13. James Martinez says:
