Droughts have impacted olive oil production in Spain, which is the world’s largest producer. This has caused olive oil prices to more than double in the past year. This makes the oil a target for thieves.
Robberies have taken place in major olive oil factories, resulting in hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of olive oil being stolen. Palki Sharma tells you.
