Homemade Green Tea Moisturiser – natural, cruelty free

Hey! This DIY deep moisturizing face cream is made with green tea so its full of antioxidants and is great for revitalizing your skin. I love this recipe because it is easy to make and it makes my skin feel so nourished. I apply it 1-2 hours before bed as a night moisturizer because this allows it to absorb without rubbing off on my pillows ♡
DIY green tea face moisturizer recipe:
– 1 Tbsp wax
– 2 Tbsp coconut oil
– 3 Tbsp almond oil
– 1/2 tsp vitamin e oil
– 1-2 tea bags organic green tea
– 5 drops essential oil – I used lavender for its nice smell and skin regenerating properties but you could use for instance eucalyptus, rosemary or tea tree oils for acne, or others for any other effects – a good chart is:
Melt the oils and wax. Pour in green tea sachet while oil is still on heat & leave for 10-15min before straining through cheese cloth. Then whip the strained liquid with an electric beater until it is room temperature and creamy. Store in a jar in a cool dry place, should last until finished because it primarily consists of oils.

I didn't know what antioxidants meant but when I searched it up and it said 'substances that may protect your cells against free radicals, which may play a role in heart disease, cancer and other diseases' was the time when I knew that this is what I needed.
Not cruelty free if the ingredients come form animal products 😉
How many ounces does this recipe make?
Would Argon oil be a good choice instead of the Almond oil? And also could u add arrowroot powder to help with oiliness?

Vitamin E is not a preservative, it’s a Antioxidant. I recommend Nipaguard as a preservative
NOW Foods Lavender is the Safest kind
What is the shelf life?
That is not called cream …that is a balm ..cream is emulsion
you can still use liquids ie, distilled water or hydrosols, but you must use an emulsifier – you can get vegan emulsifiers – that way your water and oils won't separate however if you use water you must use a preservative

Honey this is pure shit. Coconut oil will cause acne it's called comedogenic

Is blending necessary? I mean coconut oil anyways freezes so why to blend till cool?

I think for those who are prone to acne like me coconut oil will be too rich on the skin but apart from that this herbal cream is excellent.Is there an alternative ingredient or oil I could use instead of coconut oil. ?
