Is it ok to add butter to salad? I mean, chopped butter in cubes. I don't know, I just really like it.
"So, this would be an OK dressing."
WHAT would be an OK dressing!!?
Braggs
I don’t get it: why would anyone buy a salad dressing? I get a large bowl and throw into it some cold-pressed extra virgin olive oil, some cider vinegar and some Dijon mustard, and then mix it for a few seconds. Sometimes I add chopped raw garlic and some dried parsley and tarragon, unless I’m using those ingredients elsewhere in my meal. I then throw in some romaine lettuce etc, and give it all a quick stir. It takes seconds.
I like to make my dressing salad from sesame sauce Tahini
Apple vinegar, olive oil, parsley and garlic
What about Ken's simply vinnigrette italian? I think I spelled it wrong lol
Hi Dr. Berg, would you recommend using MCT oil to make salad dressings?

To get a vinaigrettes to stick to my salads (I have a raspberry I like, despite being thin) and I mix it with a healthy ranch. Believe it or not, the flavors blend for my taste, and my granddaughter LOVES the "pink" salad dressing!!

Confusing: He says 'of course you don't want to add fish oil to your salad dressing' but then proceeds to say, "i like the fish oils the best" and recommends cod liver oil (in the notes). What what?
Can't believe what I am watching here; we have a salad most days and always make our own dressing…it's so easy. 4 parts virgin olive oil, one part vinegar, a crushed garlic clove, a teaspoon of mustard, salt and pepper…that's it. Don't spend you money on that unhealthy manufactured crap.
GMO dressing is Get My Organic Dressing
Thank you… balsamic vinegar & Olive oil .. ok?
You can thicken the watery dressings with nutritional yeast 😉
Sunflower oil is a no no. Right?
I eat Pink Salmon or Tuna in my salads, would that be good enough or should I add Oil? 🤔
I use extra virgin olive oil and balsamic vinegar. Italian decent.
You said the only thing wrong with canola oil is that it's probably GMO??? I'm pretty sure I've heard different, from you!
Surprised Primal Kitchen dressings weren't mentioned. They all use Avocado oil. A bit expensive, but clean as can be, and very tasty.
Is grape seed oil keto compliant?
Thank you
I know all the bad oils by heart. I've tried to use olive oil and avocado oil in both salad dressings and homemade mayo – both were a no go for me as those oils taste horrible for both applications. Any other oils that I can use that don't taste like paint??
Please review Mother Raw dressings
When I was little, all we had on salad was, Key Lime juice, salt& pepper. Now I have olive oil w/ the lime juice. About half the time it's ACV instead of KLJ. Gotta keep it simple 😄🇺🇸

I need a healthy and tasty dressing that I can find at Walmart.
Why not add a few herbs and spices like cayenne pepper and dill to the buttermilk dressing? I do stuff like that all the time whenever I use sour cream.
No not what I was looking for. No vinegar & no Lemon dressings. Low acid diet because of silent acid reflux. Trying to heal my damaged throat & larynx.
they include MSG in “spices” or natural flavors sometimes
I just throw fresh lemon juice on my salads lately. Quick and easy and not to bad.
Great homemade recipe, adding Natto provides K2, missing from all dressings mentioned
