  1. lol I just put it in milk and stir it till its warmed up, put some honey in it and some fresh fruit if I have it. No sugar. No water. Just warm milk ☺☺☺ warm tummy in the winter.

  2. I find it better with two parts water one part skimmed milk. Plus I wouldn’t bother with the salt, many people overdo the salt, thinking it is essential but it tastes yuck unless you reduce the salt to a tiny amount, by which time you don’t notice the difference. Thus the need to use salt is a bit of a myth.

  3. I make mine in an instant pot …takes 4 minutes and is the same consistency as Jamie's…I add some cream and chopped peaches with a bit of maple syrup

  4. I mix 50-50 porrige and muesli to give it more bite, sugar is a bit taboo these days, the Yanks are calling Alzheimers `Diabetes 3´, so just to be a wuzzy I´ll stay off that.

  5. I watched this video during my college life, coming back again 8 years later. Definitely change how I see porridge, I used to hate it, now its my favorite breakfast in Winter, thank you Jamie.

  6. I cook porridge with milk. The most delicious way I've developed is to add crushed cardamon & cinnamon with honey and/or brown sugar along with a generous load of butter; It tastes akin to indian sweets and I think it's the absolute apogee of silky sweet milkiness that one could possibly get for breakfast. (in my humble opinion.)

  7. My idea of porridge in the morning will be with, Kiwi, blueberries, strawberries, banana and with drips of honey, the best milk I use is oat milk, trust me it taste better with oat milk.

  8. I love this video! It resets me, I start cooking like this, and then drift away. But this is the best! I add some vegan yogurt, almond butter, raspberries, blueberries and half of banana. And of course some honey. Keeps me full till lunch, the best breakfast.

  9. I just prepared a beautiful organic steel cooked oat porridge this morning with smooshed banana, broken walnut kernels and Pure Canadian Maple syrup. Steel cooked oats are incredibly healthy and give next level nutty chewiness and texture. I simmer 1 cup of grains for 15-20 minutes in 2.5 cups of water and 1 cup of unsweetened oat milk with a 1/4 teaspoon of kosher salt. It’s so delicious. Love to know what you think if you try this. Stay well 🥰💝
