  3. INDEED! And as a Sicilian, I say life is too short to enjoy poor quality olive oil! Sicily has the best quality Olive Oil, some of the Northern Oils are fake and mixed with inferior oil types… An overall everyday good brand of mainstream Sicilian EV Olive Oil to use is "Partanna", and if you can afford it and want something stronger, Frantoia or the Paesano Brands are great. Believe me the olive oil quality makes a huge difference in texture and flavor of what you are cooking. But nothing compares to anything which is pressed by a small local villager or family! And the best way to really test the quality of olive oil in general is to take real Italian bread and dip it into a mixture of Olive Oil with Sicilian Sea Salt (and vinegar mixed in if you want) and try it that way. A high quality oil makes all the difference in bringing out the good flavor.
