I'm from the UK, I'm in the UK and I grow and eat mostly my own produce too. It rains here more that Greece and I'm currently cold in summer and a lot of people are very keen to vote to make their lives more difficult.

If you think about it, this is such an ancient, simple way of livng. No junk food, they grow everything on the island with fishing being the principal trade…we are looking right into ancient Greek times and it's amazing, honestly.

Wonderful. The West is getting it wrong. Overcrowding, stress, awash with consumer goods, living in overpriced shoeboxes. Proper houses with gardens, especially in the Countryside is now the preserve of the wealthy. Who are likely to tarmac much of it to keep their cars on. It will be a very sad day when they open a KFC or McDonald's on Ikaria. Please tell me they haven't?
