CCTV has emerged appearing US troops armed with attack rifles mistakenly storming a privately-owned sunflower oil manufacturing unit in Bulgaria.
They have been collaborating in a Nato army workout, with the purpose of clearing the airbase subsequent door, however ended up on the fallacious coordinates and encountered civilian staff.
The incident took place on 11 Might.
No photographs have been fired and america Embassy in Bulgaria says it’s “fully investigating the cause of this mistake”.

These civs were probably shitting their pants. Mistakes happen tho. And in training exercises like this around civilians they use blanks so the odds of anyone even getting hurt here was highly unlikely.

They were never in any real danger, it was an exercise, using blanks. Not excusing it, it’s a pretty dumb mistake, but let’s not go around making it sound worse than it is. The only people that were in danger were the troops that went outside their AO. In danger of pissing the wrong person off. Glad nobody got hurt.

Wait, you mean to tell me that soldiers participating in an exercise they were invited to are human and made the mistake of securing a building nit intended to part of the exercise play are while carrying inert weapons (exercise) incapable of hurting anyone?
It’s a good thing we have these exercises where no one can get hurt while learning from mistakes and getting valuable training so they can do it right if/when the time comes.
