Argan oil can price up to $300 according to liter, making it the sector’s most costly fit for human consumption oil. Simply two decades in the past, alternatively, the manufacturing of argan oil used to be remoted to villagers in Morocco, who bought it in the neighborhood for as little at $3 according to liter. However since then, the formation of women-run cooperatives has reworked the manufacturing right into a billion-dollar business. With the assistance of the cooperatives, the normal talents held via the Amazigh women has created some monetary independence in a male-dominated society On the other hand, the women most often make not up to $220 a month — underneath Morocco’s beneficial nationwide minimal salary. So why has argan oil won such reputation? And what makes it so dear?

the misogyny of it all, and some wonder why feminism is vital when things go on this way
Below minimum wage that all I heard
Jason and the Argon Nuts.
I love argan oil. My natural hair likes it and my skin loves it. Argan and avocado oil💕
Literally my favorite oil definitely
Just watching this I know how to make it automatic
I went into an Argan woodworking shop when I went to Morocco. The smell of Argan wood is so wonderful. I bought some small wooden items which still faintly smell like Argan wood to this day. I was in Morocco for almost a month and it was a great experience.
Why Aergan oil is so expensive? Because people are willing to pay that much for it, that's the only reason. If people weren't willing to pay that much for the oil, they would not use a production process that costs them so much time and money. The price of a good is determined by the value it brings to the consumer. I can assure you, that if no one were will to pay $300/liter of oil, they would have to lower their prices for their existing stock and eventually stop spending so much time and effort producing it.
Always thought argan oil came from Arganistan…
Okay, I'm leaving now.
Video says loreal signed fair trade program..biggest joke…if it was fair trade, these women still wont be poor while loreal profits keep increasing…or these fair trade programs are unfair itslef amd its rules written by compalnies like loreal and mac and other shimmering shining cosmetic industries
Didn’t women organize them? Yet they are still under paid? Lol. When are we going to value actual work? I mean damn they’re spending a whole day just so my beard is shiny and smooth, I think I paid enough for my tiny bottle for them to get a decent wage.
I still use coconut oil…or olive oil…they just made this oil so fancy…
So the argan oil I buy at the store isn't real argan oil? It's $10 a bottle. Lol I use it as a beard oil and works great. I also mix it with water into a spray bottle to use as a hair spray of sorts
In all honesty, this could be mass produced.
This product has no business being that expensive, mechanize it and apply mass agriculture techniques, boom down to 10$ per liter
they just use them its sad :/
Ive stopped buying this product as well as avocado, and any items from china. I dont think its healthy to support these businesses.
Just like what De Beers has been doing mining diamonds in Africa, the people who toils to extract the product and natives of the land are exploited while the companies rack up profits.
Thats messed up man those old ladies should be making bank . Pay them ladies ! 💸💸💸
dis looks delish
8 minutes talking about the wonderful craft, women's empowerment and liberty yada yada and then " oh yes, also these women are being exploited" in the last few seconds. ugh.
moroccans got independence from the French in 1956; it is not a matter of husbands not allowing their wives to leave their homes. Don’t spread misinformation
$300 a liter bullshit, i paid almost $100 for 2oz and that was half off sale!!! I use it sparingly big time.
Black women started using it in their products. And black hair is extremely important to maintain it.
They said, argan oil prevent wrinkles… But the lady who is making oil her hands r full of wrinkles
amazigh women never needed men's perission to leave their house WTF
Ang galing ng mga kambing umakyat sa mga puno
Wait so looking through goat shit makes the job easier?
I get it that it takes a lot of effort to make it. but what makes it so special compared to the substitutes? if not, then there is no reason to pay for that outrageous price.
as consumer I pay to get value, and if there is a cheaper way to get the same value I'd go for it. I don't think it is consumers' responsibility to pay extra to get people employed. if we all do that, we hinder the advancement of humanity.
The "civilised" folk know how to make money the world over. The greedy void never fills up.

These vids should be titled, "why is __ so expensive in the US?" Everytime I watch these videos, it makes me realize that most of these products only became expensive because the West charged their customers too much by marketing it as something "exotic".
Argan Oil Shampoo is Awesome!!
This whole process cries for automation.
"We support improved life and economy for our women!"
[Pays women pennies on the dollar]
Being a hairdresser for 30 yrs,my hands are horrible.( I don’t like wearing gloves) I bet their hands and skin are amazing, the people who have hands on working with the oils. Lol
Traditional Moroccan argan oil is made from the poop of goats who have eaten argan fruit.
The seeds aren’t digested when the goats eat the fruit, so they are eventually pooped out, collected by locals.
Sounds just like the chocolate cocoa industry saying everything is above board and Fairtrade bullshi*
Can you suggest best organic argan oil
،👍🤲🙏👍👍👍
"300$ " me seing this as Moroccan 👀
White people, they make everything so expensive 🙄🙄
The good quality its expansive right but if found some changes companies who producer and sell bad quality with low price and they said its the pure argan oil.
